Mandy Hagith’s The Walrus Mutter
In 325 BC, Pythias of Massalia traveled to northern Britain and beyond, becoming a historian of the midnight sun and the first author to describe distant lands in Thule (probably Iceland). His account, ‘On the Ocean’, is lost to history and is now known only through references to other authors. But we have ‘The Walrus Mutter’, a brilliant fictional version of those trips, made for it.
