6th meeting of India-Norway joint working group on higher education held

New Delhi : The Ministry of Education organized the 6th meeting of India-Norway Joint Working Group on Higher Education in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The meeting was chaired by Neeta Prasad, Joint Secretary, International Cooperation, Ministry of Education, India and Anne Line Old, Director General, Ministry of Education and Research, Norway.

Both sides reviewed the progress under the Indo-Norwegian cooperation program developed in the framework of the previous India-Norway Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2014. They discussed overall higher education policies and priorities, student/faculty mobility and collaboration in areas of expertise. development

Ambassador of Norway to India also attended the meeting.

“The Joint Working Group was established to monitor and oversee the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Higher Education signed between India and Norway on 25 April 2022,” the ministry said.
