The developer has released a new upgrade for Assassin’s 2017 Creed Origins It will offer players a frame rate of 60 fps (frames per second). The update is expected to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S on June 2.
However, Boost does not seem to offer 4K support or other visual enhancements. Still, the company claims that the new display upgrade will be attractive to gamers who haven’t played the game in a while. The game shared a tweet from its official Twitter account announcing the 60fps upgrade.
Assassin’s Creed Origins Upgrade: About a year late
Ubisoft did not specify why the PS5 and Xbox series consoles even offered a 60FPS boost to a game released three years before its release. However, in 2021, the developers released a similar upgrade to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which was released a year after the Origin title.
One of the most recently acquired games in the Assassin’s Creed Origins franchise, however, Ubisoft has already decided to upgrade to a new title. Developer Assassins may aim to revive players’ interest in the series before launching Creed Infinity. This new update could be a good excuse for players to return to the alternative reality set in ancient Egypt.
