Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will close the registration for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 today, September 21, at 5 PM. Candidates who are yet to register for the CAT 2022 exam can do so on the official website of IIM CAT—

The CAT 2022 exam will be held on November 27, 2022 in three sessions, so the duration of the exam is 120 minutes. Admit card will be released on October 27.

There will be three sessions: Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning; Section III: Quantitative Ability. Candidates will be allotted exactly 40 minutes to answer questions in each section and will not be allowed to move from one section to another while answering questions in one section.

CAT 2022 will be conducted in around 150 exam centers across the city.

CAT 2022 Exam: Steps for Registration

Step 1: Visit the official website—

Step 2: Click on ‘New Candidate Registration’ option.

Step 3: Fill the application form with all required details.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Step 5: Download the application form and get a hard copy for future reference.

The registration process started on August 3 this year. The fee for this is also the same 1150 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates 2300 for all other category candidates.

After the registration window closes, candidates can edit photo, signature, choice of exam city (if required) in the application form. A very short editing window will be made available to registered applicants. This option will be valid only for those candidates who have paid the applicable registration fee and successfully registered for CAT 2022 within the specified deadline.

CAT Result is likely to be declared in the second week of January, 2023. The score is valid only till December 31, 2023 and will be accessible on the website accordingly.
