Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration date for January 2022 admission cycle. As per the revised date, the last date for submission of application without delay fee is 15 March 2022.

Fee discounts available for SC / ST students can only be claimed for one program. If an applicant claims multiple applications for fee waiver, all applications will be rejected.

How to apply for IGNOU Admission

Step-1: Go to official website-

Step-2: Click on the ‘Application Process’ link

Step-3: Enter the certificate and log in

Step-4: Fill out the application form, and upload the documents. You need to scan the documents from the original. Once you’ve uploaded the document, click the Next button to get the Form Preview option. Save / print your form for future reference.

Step-5: Pay the application fee and click on submit. Fees can be paid through Credit Card (Master / Visa), Debit Card (Master / Visa / Rupee), Net Banking and UPI.

Step-6: Download the application form, take a print out for further reference.

If a student cancels admission and applies for a refund, the request for refund will be considered in accordance with the University’s policy:

– Before the last date of submission of Admission Form – Fee paid will be refunded after deducting Rs.200 / –

– Within 15 days from the last date of submission of admission form – Fee paid after deducting Rs.500 / – will be refunded.

– Within 30 days from the last date of submission of admission form – The fee paid will be refunded after deducting Rs.1,000 / -.

– 30 days after closing date – No refunds.
