Audio social media app only Clubhouse Has introduced a new feature called Wave bars To make it easier to connect and chat with friends on the platform. The feature is currently being tested and will add a swinging hand symbol to your friends’ profile icon at the top of the screen.
The Wave Bar app will display your friends’ profile pictures at the top. When a friend comes online, you can reach out to them and invite them to chat with you.
With this feature, Waves Social rooms will now open instead of private rooms, so that the speaker’s friends can join the conversation and the speakers can ping between friends. There is also a new ping bar at the top of the social room so you can quickly ping friends
The social media app recently launched an in-room chat feature that allows users to interact with each other via text during a live room, according to an IANS report. Regarding the new feature, Clubhouse has stated that the makers will have complete control over the room chat. They can turn off the chat at any time in the live room and delete any message during the live room and after the end of the room.
“We hope this will make it easier to conduct quick poll or sourcing queries from the audience and bring engagement to the next level,” the company said in a blog post.
