The Omicron variant has caused a lot of trouble in the last few months. Although not as deadly as the Delta, it was highly contagious and soon spread to other countries. Although the number of infections has dropped in many parts of the world, the United Kingdom is experiencing another increase in Covid-19 infections.

According to the UK Health Secretary, the increase in coronavirus cases was “expected” as many COVID-19 bans were lifted and people were able to move freely again.

Mentioning the same thing, in a YouTube video, Tim Specter, head professor of the ZOE Covid Symptoms app, said, “For the first time in a week, cases are predicted to increase again.”
