COVID-19 vs Allergy: As spring arrives, know how to distinctly identify the symptoms

Although in both cases the respiratory system is primarily affected there are some differences between the symptoms. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), both Covid-19 and seasonal allergies can cause coughs, headaches, and fatigue. Sore throat, sneezing, itchy eyes and sore throat are also common symptoms.

The difference is that shortness of breath or shortness of breath is common in Covid but not seen in allergies unless the person has asthma. In addition, colds and fevers are more common with Novel Coronavirus.
