Delhi University (DU) will announce the third round of seat allotment for undergraduate admission tomorrow, Sunday November 13, Registrar Vikas Gupta was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

In the third round, all supernumerary quotas including extra-curricular activities (ECA), sports, CW (children and widows of armed forces), and Kashmiri immigrants will be admitted in addition to regular admissions.

While it was earlier scheduled to begin on Thursday, the university has scheduled the third round on November 13. Now, the round will start tomorrow at 5 PM and will end on November 20.

The third round was rescheduled as the university needed some time to prepare the list for admission under the economically weaker section (EWS) and sports category for all supernumerary seats, a senior university official said, PTI reported.

After the announcement of the third CSAS allotment list, candidates will have a two-day window from November 14 to 15 to claim the allotted seats. Colleges will verify and approve online applications between November 14 and 16. Last date for candidates to submit admission fee is 17th November.

After the conclusion of the third round, Delhi University will open an upgrade window for supernumerary seats and Christian candidates only for St. Stephen’s College and Jesus and Mary College (JMC) from November 18 to 19.

“Candidates who have opted for admission in supernumerary quota and wish to opt for upgrade to the next round of that particular supernumerary quota can do so from Friday (November 18) from 10 am to 4:59 pm on Saturday. Candidates will be considered for an upgrade in supernumerary quota only. Will be,” the registrar told PTI.

After that, the vacant seats for CSAC’s first allotment round will be announced on November 20. Candidates can apply for the spot allocation round from November 21 to November 22.

The first place allotment list will be announced on November 23. Candidates have to take the allotted seats between 24th to 26th November. Last date for candidates to submit admission fee online is 27 November.

So far two rounds of seat allotment have been completed. Out of the 70,000 undergraduate seats of DU, the total number of students admitted to the university so far has exceeded 61,500.
