Delhi University will release the first spot allotment list of Common Seat Allocation System on Wednesday at 5 PM. Students will be able to apply for the vacant seats one day after the announcement of vacant seats by DU at 5 pm on Sunday.
Delhi University will announce the list of vacant seats available for spot round admission on its official website today
Candidates should go through the list of vacant seats thoroughly so that they can apply for their desired seats. Application for vacant seats will start from 10 am on Monday.
As per the official notification, with the release of vacant seats of the first spot admission round on Sunday, all the candidates already admitted will be considered assured of admission and will not be allowed for upgradation. However, there are exceptions for supernumerary upgrades. In the same manner, the admission candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admission after the release of the first round admission process.
How to apply for spot round admission?
Step 1: Candidates have to visit the official website of the university.
Step 2: Check the list of vacant seats. Option to check vacant seats under First Place Allotment Round will be available from 5:00 PM on Sunday
Step 3: Click on ‘Spot Admission’ available on the dashboard. Candidates can apply for spot admission on Monday after 10 AM
Step 4: Candidates have to fill their credentials and then apply for their desired seat.
Important Dates for DU First Spot Round Admission 2022
20 November 2022: Delhi University will release the list of vacant seats at 5:00 PM
November 21-22: Candidates can apply for vacant seats in their preferred courses for spot round allotment. The application will start on Monday from 10 am and candidates can apply till 4.59 pm on Tuesday.
23 November: University will publish the list of selected candidates in spot round seat allotment. The list will be published at 5 pm
November 24-25: Selected candidates have to take the seat offered on the website between Thursday 10:00 am to Friday 4:59 pm.
November 24-26: Colleges will verify and approve candidates’ online applications.
27 November: Students with guaranteed seats, must pay the admission fee online by 4:59 PM on Sunday.
