digilocker: Digilocker services come to WhatsApp via MyGov Helpdesk: What this means for you

Dieselcar Services are coming to WhatsApp. In an initiative to make government services accessible, the government has announced that citizens will now be able to use it MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp to access Digilkar services. This includes creating and verifying digital car accounts, downloading documents such as PAN card, driving license, car registration certificate and many more on WhatsApp. For those who do not know, DigilCar allows Indian citizens to access their original documents anytime, anywhere. Documents stored in the digital car have the same validity as the original It provides a verification module that enables government agencies to verify data directly from issuers after obtaining user consent.
What is MyGov Helpdesk?
MyGov Helpdesk is India’s online chatbot / helpdesk for public services on WhatsApp. It was launched in March 2020 and was known on WhatsApp as the MyGov Corona Helpdesk. It also helps users to book vaccine appointments and download vaccine certificates. The government later changed its name to Coroner to indicate its usefulness. With new additions like Digilocker, MyGov Chatbot on WhatsApp aims to create a comprehensive administrative support system for citizens to access digitally inclusive resources and essential services.
MyGov Helpdesk will offer key services on WhatsApp
With the advent of the MyGov Helpdesk WhatsApp, the service will enable citizens to access the following documents:
PAN card
Driving license
⦁ CBSE 10th class pass certificate
Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
Insurance policy – two wheeler

মার্ক Twelfth grade marksheet
Insurance policy documents
How to use MyGov helpdesk on WhatsApp
WhatsApp users across the country at +91 9013151515. To get started, save the number +91 9013151515 in your WhatsApp contact. Once done, users can use the chatbot by sending ‘Namaste’ or ‘Hi’ or ‘DieselCar’ to this number on WhatsApp. The interface will show two options: Cowin service and DigiLocker service
When a user chooses the DigiLocker option, it will authenticate with his / her Aadhaar and an OTP. Once authenticated, it will tell the user about the documents available in Digilcar. Users can access any document in Digilcar after sharing the document to which the mobile number is related. An OTP will be sent to the same mobile number, once authenticated, the citizen will be able to download the document.
