DU Admission 2022: Check out list of vacant seats in most popular courses

Over 36% of the 59,100 candidates admitted to Delhi University’s first-round seat allotment applied for an upgrade to their higher ‘Program College Combination’ choice till Wednesday evening. Of these, 21,312 candidates opted for an upgrade, according to official data available on the DU website.

The university opened a two-day window from Wednesday to allow those enrolled in undergraduate courses to upgrade to the higher ‘Program College Combination’ option.

The upgrade option will not be available for those who have been allotted their first choice courses and colleges, the official said. There more than 6,500 candidates have been allotted their first choice courses and colleges.

A candidate who opts for ‘upgrade’ can rearrange program college combinations which are more preferred than the allotted one. The university released the list of vacant seats on Wednesday.

According to data, most of the seats in popular colleges like Hindu and Miranda House of Delhi University’s North Campus are already filled, while only one to two seats will be available for candidates in the second round of seat allotment in many courses. .
