DU Admission 2022: Delhi University will start the second round of spot admission today, Monday, November 28, after releasing the list of vacant seats. Candidates will be given a two day window ‘Tuesday and Wednesday’ to apply.

The seat allotment list will be released on December 2. Candidates will be given a few days to claim the seat and will have to pay the fee by December 6.

In an official statement, the varsity said, “To be considered for Spot Round II, candidates have to opt for ‘Spot Admission-II’ through its dashboard.”

Simultaneously, the university will also open a window for Kashmiri migrant candidates selected under CW (under Armed Forces) and supernumerary quota to upgrade their courses of choice.

Seats of candidates already admitted to various courses in the previous election round will be automatically locked on Monday and they will not be allowed to withdraw their admission, PTI reported.

Candidates can visit the official website of Delhi University to check the list of vacant seats in Spot Round II—du.ac.in.

Meanwhile, I completed the spot admission round on Sunday, November 27. At least 8,680 students have been allotted seats in this round. They are not eligible to participate in the second spot filling round, the varsity said.

As of Friday, 6,953 candidates have claimed their allotted seats.

The university has 70,000 seats in its undergraduate programs. Till Friday 60 thousand 84 students have enrolled in various courses.

The DU admission process, which starts from September 12, is being conducted in three phases – application process, choice filling and seat allotment-cum-admission.

This year, the university is admitting students through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) instead of 12th class marks.
