Delhi University has announced that it will be hosting a placement-cum-internship fair for eligible students from April 7-9. The job fair will be held in blended mode and will be arranged for the companies according to their interests and requirements. An equal number of 18,000 students from more than 80 colleges and universities will participate in the job fair.
The Central Placement Cell of Delhi University has entered its 15th year, a statement said. We would like to announce that a job fair (placement-cum-internship fair) is being organized by the Central Placement Cell (PC) under the supervision of the Dean, Student Welfare Office, University of Delhi.
The statement said, “This job fair is the first of its kind in the colorful history of a prestigious university and with the support and participation of the corporate community it is helpful to enable deserving students for appropriate placement and internship opportunities.”
“The CPC’s vision is to provide a continuous opportunity for undergraduates and postgraduates studying in various science courses (physical, life and applied sciences), commerce, mathematics, social sciences, etc.”
The university sought the help of all corporate houses to provide suitable placement to the students.
In addition to corporate, the university has invited NGOs, research institutes and the public sector to participate in the job fair.
