EA joins Middle-earth Enterprises to develop a new Lord of the Rings game for mobile

The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-Earth Expected Details
The publisher did not reveal much detail about the game, which included – images, gameplay or characters, except for a single image that shows the partnership between the two organizations in a Middle-earth era.
However, Frederica Drotos, Middle-Earth Enterprise’s chief brand and licensing officer, also claimed that the game’s setting would be “inspired only by Middle-earth as described in JRR Tolkien’s literary work.”
The developers further suggest that the Heroes of Middle-Earth game will feature characters from both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchise. The EA also mentioned that the game will have “an extensive list of immersive storytelling, turn-based combat, deep collection systems and characters”.
The gameplay is expected to include battles across multiple familiar stories from Tolkien’s work, as well as social and competitive game modes. EA also did not confirm the official release date of the game.
