The company says the free apps will be available for download as well as past purchases. Apart from this, there is no other change Google Play StoreIts availability in Russia. Developers can still publish and update applications
According to the report, the subscription will continue till the end of the current billing period but it will be canceled due to non-payment. In order to stand by users, Google is considering postponing user renewals, which is only possible for up to a year.
During the deferred period, a user will retain full access to the content but will not be charged during the deferred period. The company will update the renewal date to reflect the new date.
Another option the company has is to make the applications free or delete paid subscriptions during the “paused period”. The move is intended to provide access to “critical services for users”.
