The CBSE, in its latest circular on schools issued today, said that it has informed schools collectively about the performance of the theory of 10th grade students, although individual student performance is not available on the website.

Information about student performance is based on student performance uploaded by schools. “Performance is reported to schools based on the scanning of OMR sheets that subjects did not assess,” the CBSE said.

The CBSE has said that those who missed their Term-1 exams due to Kovid or because of their race or participation in international sports or Olympiads, etc., are not being given any performance in their Term-1 exams. However, their final performance will be assessed on the basis of their performance in the Term-11 test, it said.

The Central Board of Education said this time, the students are being informed only about the theory performance. “Schools already have information on practical or project or internal evaluation,” it added.

As it is only term-1, no marksheet cum passing certificate is being given now. “Only one Marksheet cum Passing Certificate will be issued after Term-2 examination to match the previous results. It will consist of the total number of posts as per the weightage of Term-1 and Term-2 examinations,” CBSE said.

In order to address the level of difficulty between the two sets of question papers in the Term-1 examination, a necessary measure will be taken while preparing the final results, the CBSE said.

The weightage of Term-1 and Term-2 will be decided during the announcement of Term-2 results and accordingly, the final performance will be calculated, it said. Class 10 results will also be announced only after the Term-2 examination where the candidates will be placed in the required repeat or bogie or pass section.

According to CBSE, no examination center will be changed in Term-2 examination. Students will only attend from their school allocation center. The compartment examination will be conducted on the basis of term-22 examination syllabus.

The board shares tenth grade results in schools:

CBSE has announced the results of Class 10 Term-1 examinations in schools. The CBSE Board stated that only theory marks have been reported to schools as internal assessment scores are already available in schools. On Twitter, the CBSE board wrote, “Performance of Class X Term 1 examination has been reported to schools by CBSE. Only scores, theoretically, have already been reported in schools with internal assessment / practical scores.”

For the first time, CBSE has decided to handle class 10 and class papers in two parts: Term-1 and Term-2, respectively. The 10th class Term-1 examination was held between November 30 and December 11 last year. The tests were based on multiple choice questions (MCQs). Candidates can also use apps like DigilCar and use it to check the results of Umang Term 1.

Also, on Friday, the CBSE headquarters also released the schedule of Class 10 Term-2 papers. The board has also released the datesheet of Class XII Term-2 examination. According to CBSE, the test will start at 10.30 am.
