IIT Guwahati on Friday announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology will be held on June 4, 2023.
The institute is slated to hold the crucial exam in 2023. The exam consists of two papers, each lasting three hours. According to IIT officials, candidates have to appear for both the papers.
“JEE-Advanced 2023 will be conducted by the seven zonal coordinating IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board 2023 (JAB 2023). A candidate’s performance in JEE (Advanced) 2023 will form the basis for admission to undergraduate, integrated masters, and dual degree programs (at 10 2 level). admission), mentioned in Section 2 in all IITs for the academic year 2023-24,” said a senior IIT Guwahati official.
“The decisions of JAB 2023 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2023 and admission to IITs in the academic year 2023-24,” the official added.
JEE-Main, which is conducted for admission to engineering colleges across the country, serves as a prerequisite for JEE-Advanced.
