JEE Main 2022: The application process for the first session of JEE Main has started and will continue till the end of this month, 31st March.
Before filling up the application form, applicants are advised to go through the information bulletin and instructions / procedures uploaded on the official site.
Candidates can apply online only through the official website of JEE (Main) – (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in).
In the first round, only Session 1 will be visible and candidates will be able to choose it. In the next round, Session 2 will be visible, and candidates can choose for that session.
The application window will reopen immediately after conducting Session 1. The Session 2 test will be the JEE (Main) – 2022 final test.

Online application submission: 1st March 2022 to 31st March
Application deadline: 31st March at 11.30 PM
Test city announcement: 1st week of April 2022
Admission Download: 2nd week of April 2022
Exam Date: 16th April 2022 to 21st April 2022
Session-2
Application submission: 8 April 2022 to 3 May 2022
Application deadline: May 3 at 11.30 PM
Exam announcement city: 2nd week of May 2022
Download Admission: 3rd week of May 2022
Exam date: 24 May 2022 to 29 May 2022
Age limit
To appear in JEE (Main) – 2022, there is no age limit for candidates. Candidates who have passed 12 class / equivalent examinations in 2020, 2021 or appeared in 2022 irrespective of their age can participate in JEE (Main) – 2022 examinations. However, the candidates who are willing to be admitted in the institute may have to meet their age criteria.
List of Qualified Examiners
i 10 + 2 Final Examination, conducted by any recognized Central / State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; Etc.
ii. Intermediate or two year pre-university examination conducted by a recognized board / university.
iii. Final Examination of the Two-Year Course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy
iv The Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
v. Any public school / board / university examination in India or any foreign country is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to 10 + 2 system.
vi Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
vii Diploma recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education for a period of at least 3 years.
