The first session of the JEE Main exam will begin today, January 24. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for appearing in the JEE Main 2023 exam. Candidates can download admit card from NTA official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
JEE Main Admit Card contains information like date, time, exam center information and roll number. Students are advised to read all the guidelines mentioned in the admit card carefully.
JEE Main 2023: Read dress code and exam instructions below
1) Students are advised to wear slippers or sandals with low heels. According to the instructions they should avoid footwear like shoes.
2) Long sleeve clothes are prohibited in exam center, so wear half sleeve-light clothes. If you are wearing a certain dress for religious purposes, it is mandatory to arrive at the examination center early for entry.
3) Take printout of your admit card, photo ID, photograph etc. for verification.
4) Handbags and any kind of electronic devices are prohibited inside the examination centre.
5) Do not carry cap, dupatta, sunglasses, watch etc. The exam console will display the clock so that candidates can track the time.
6) Students should note that they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall if they do not carry the original copy of their admit card.
Engineering Examination (Paper 1, BE/BTech) will be held in two shifts daily on 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 and February. Paper 2, Architecture and Planning paper will be held on January 28 in one shift. The second session exam will be held in April.
The exam will be conducted in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
