The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) results will be declared on July 30, Saturday, Higher Education Minister Dr CN Aswath Narayan said on Monday.
Around 2.2 lakh students appeared for KCET 2022 held on 16, 17 and 18 June.
Students studying under 12th standard CBSE and ICSE syllabus were also allowed to appear for KCET this year, Narayan said.
Students who have appeared in KCET have to upload their marksheets on the website of the Karnataka examination authority by Tuesday evening, he added.
Students can follow below listed steps to check their result.
1) Log on to KEA official website kea.kar.nic.in.
2) Click on ‘KCET Result 2022’ on the home page.
3) Enter your login details and click on ‘Submit’.
4) Your result will be displayed on the screen.
5) Check the result and download it.
KCET is a state-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and other professional courses in participating institutions in Karnataka.
This year, 486 observers (Assistant Commissioner Cadre), 972 Special Vigilance Squad members, 486 Custodians and around 9,600 inspectors and a total of 20,483 officers were deployed to conduct examination duties.
Candidates participating in the examination were prohibited from wearing or carrying any type of wristwatch in the examination hall/room. They were allowed to carry only 2-3 ball points but no pencil or ink-pen. Clear water bottles without stickers or writing were also allowed.
Full-sleeved shirts/T-shirts, head and ear coverings, jewellery, modern electronic devices were also prohibited in the examination hall/room.
