While filing an FIR against the Delhi man, he was charged under Section 33 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009.
While dismissing the FIR, the court noted, “132 bottles of liquor were recovered from the petitioner’s house containing 51.8 liters of whiskey, vodka, gin, rum and 55.4 liters of beer, wine. Comprising of six adults, the permitted limit for possession of liquor in the petitioner’s home will be 54 liters of whiskey, vodka, gin and rum and 108 liters of beer, wine and alcoopop.
