SeagateTechnology Holdings has announced plans to expand Seagate Live Cloud In new areas. The company also plans to expand the offer Live cloud Archive storage services and Live Cloud Marketplace.
Seagate The Live Cloud portfolio aims to move to new U.S. cities, Oklahoma City, Washington DC, and Dallas; United Kingdom; Germany; India; And Japan. Live Cloud is currently present in 10 regions of the United States and Singapore.
The company is also launching Lyve Cloud Marketplace, claiming it is a one-stop shop. Seagate Live Cloud Verified Partner Solutions. Lyve Cloud Marketplace will enable customers to purchase useful solutions from Seagate Lyve Cloud partners and gain access to an integrated purchase and billing process from a single platform.
Additionally, Seagate is launching Live Cloud Archive, a cloud storage service that claims to provide total cost of ownership (TCO) without complicated data management tearing or hidden fees. Seagate Lyve Cloud Archive Secoate’s flagship Lyve Cloud Object Storage service features TCO to support data security, mobility and stability. Archival-only cloud storage is ideal for large-scale video and image repositories, secondary data sets, backup copies and any data outside of analysis or transaction-intensive workflow.
As part of the expansion, Seagate is also working to secure the Health Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance certification in the United States. Certification will allow the healthcare industry and medical service providers to expand Seagate Lyve cloud services.
