Madhya Pradesh to offer MBBS in Hindi, says state minister

Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Minister Biswas Sarang on Thursday said that Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) will now be taught in the mother tongue of India, i.e. Hindi.

He said that Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal would start offering MBBS courses in Hindi from this April.

Speaking at a press conference in Bhopal, Bishwa Sarang said, “MBBS will be taught in Hindi. Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal will start offering MBBS courses in Hindi from April.”

“Various studies have also shown that mother tongue education is beneficial and has better results,” the minister added.
