Last year Microsoft Release Windows 11 Operating system with updated UI including rounded corners, Mica and more. A few months later, the tech giant began updating its apps with similarly designed language. Now, the company has refreshed the web version Microsoft Store. Microsoft has also added some new features to the portal Windows 11-Like design theme.
Initially, Microsoft added a new search bar that will make it easier for you to find Windows apps. You will be able to spot the new search bar on the left side of the screen. Also, you’ll be able to see the app sections just below the new search bar. Categories will make it easier for you to find an app for a specific purpose
The company has also changed the overall design of the home page where you can see a slideshow of other popular apps at the top and bottom. Microsoft has redesigned the pages of individual apps. Now, you’ll be able to see the app icon at the top with the name and publisher. The page will now show when the app was last updated.
One of the company’s biggest changes to the Microsoft Store is the ability to download apps directly from the web version. As explained by Microsoft in June last year, you can now download and install apps directly from the Microsoft Store web page. Until now, when you click the download button, that page redirects you to the Microsoft Store app on the PC. Now, all you have to do is click on the “Get in Store App” button and make sure it is installed in the small pop-up window.
