All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), JodhpurHas announced a collaboration with Microsoft India. These two organizations will be established Mixed reality At the Center of Excellence AmesJodhpur, which will provide medical services, will build strong remote healthcare capabilities, and facilitate learning opportunities for staff and students.
The lab will provide advanced learning opportunities for medical students using mixed reality devices such as the HoloLens 2. Ames Jodhpur Sirohi district near Jodhpur will also pilot mixed reality capable remote healthcare services to strengthen the delivery of healthcare services to disadvantaged areas.
Dr. Sanjeev Mishra, Director, AIIMS Jodhpur, said, “We are pleased to be working with Microsoft in our efforts to transform healthcare services in India. Reconsidering healthcare in a new normal way, combined with changing expectations of patient care, has rapidly changed the way we interact with healthcare services and medical education, moving into an interactive, 3D, mixed reality environment. Speaking about the partnership, Ruben Caballero, CVP, Mixed Reality, Microsoft said, “We are excited to be working with an innovative organization like AIIMS Jodhpur to expand access to healthcare training and services through the use of HoloLens 2 and our mixed reality technology.
