The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) has been conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) since 2019.

NTA JEE has released the Main 2022 application. Candidates wishing to write the test are advised to visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The deadline to fill out the JEE Main Registration Form 2022 is March 31st.

The JEE Main 2022 exam will be conducted in two sessions – April and May.

Major changes announced by the NTA regarding JEE Mains 2022 include no application correction facility and negative marking in Section B.

Earlier, there was no provision for negative marking in Section B of Paper-2 which is Numerical Answer Type (NAT). However, the NTA has introduced negative marking in their latest guidelines. Section B will deduct one number for each wrong answer.

Candidates had the freedom to change their application even after registration earlier. However, this time the NTA has removed the correction window. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling up their forms. Only photo and signature changes allowed.

In other good news, students now have multiple opportunities to clear JEE Main 2022. The JEE has decided to conduct the examination in four sessions, which will give the candidates a second chance if they do not perform well in the first.

Candidates should also keep in mind that the forms for the April session should be filled in March and the form for the May session should be filled in April. Candidates can fill both the forms and in that case the best number of the two exams will be considered.

Other changes introduced by NTA for JEE Main 2022 include OTP authentication for registration upon submission of application. It will appear before paying the processing fee to the candidate.

Candidates will now have options for available cities based on their current address. This year the NTA has also made it mandatory for parents to meet their income when filling out the application form.

A completed application form will be sent directly to the registered email address. The scorecard of the present student will also be sent to the email address.

NTA has launched the SANDES app to make work easier. The SANDES app will act as a secondary channel for receiving JEE test updates.
