Rajnath Singh felicitates ‘Super-25’ students of Veer Gatha Competition

New Delhi : Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday congratulated the ‘Super-25’ students of the Veer Gatha competition and appreciated the creativity of the students with their entries.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present at this time.

Congratulating the young winners, the Defense Minister appreciated their bravery, enthusiasm and creativity and expressed confidence that the young generation will give a new and better direction not only to themselves but also to the society and the nation.

Appreciating the role of Veer Gatha in inspiring values ​​of patriotism among young students, Rajnath Singh said such projects will play an important role in developing values ​​of morality and bravery in students along with education. He also said that the government has taken several steps in the recent past, which will help in the overall development of our children in the coming days.

Highlighting the growing popularity of Veer Gatha, the minister said, the project has gained immense popularity in such a short span of time, and has become a movement in itself.

“Last year 8 lakh participated, whereas this number of entries has crossed 19 lakh. It has managed to reach millions of children within a short span of time. This is how a movement happens,” said Rajnath Singh.

The Defense Minister emphasized that crores of children are indirectly involved in this scheme which is also the target of the scheme. He also said that nation building is about connecting with the children of the country and keeping them motivated.

“Integration is the first requirement for any construction, be it a building, a society, an organization or a nation. Without the integration process, nothing can be built. This project is connecting children across the country with the long-standing heritage of Indianness and building their personalities. The better we develop the personality of children, the better and stronger the nation will be,” said Rajnath Singh.

Highlighting the importance of valor in everyday life, the Defense Minister said, “When I speak of valor and courage, I do not mean only valor and courage on the battlefield. These qualities are absolutely necessary in everyday life. Courage is not just using swords and arrows. It is also an act of bravery and bravery to raise voice against something wrong.”

He also added that great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Chandrasekhar Azad, Khudiram Bose, Ashfaq Ullah Khan spoke the truth throughout their lives, irrespective of the cost they had to pay for it.

Rajnath Singh also suggested that such receptions should be organized at the state and district level as well, so that the scheme reaches more people.
