Redmi 10 Smartphone here. The Shaomi Sub-brand Redmi has expanded its range of affordable smartphones with the launch of Redmi 10 under its popular Redmi number series. The Redmi 10 is the first smartphone to run beyond Android 12 based on MIUI 13. The smartphone also plays the largest screen ever in the Redmi number series. The other original glasses are Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and 50MP primary camera.
Redmi 10 Price and availability
The Redmi 10 will launch on March 24, 2022, starting at 12:00 noon across,, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores. The Redmi 10 is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. HDFC Bank’s credit card and EMI purchases are getting a discount of Rs.1000.
Redmi 10 design and display
The Redmi 10 comes with a 6.71-inch HD display, the largest screen ever in the number series. It has a 20.6: 9 aspect ratio. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass, version not specified. Redmi 10 offers Widevine L1 certification for HD viewing across streaming options. The phone comes with a built-in 1.5W speaker and it offers a conventional 3.5mm jack. The smartphone has rubberized seals to prevent water ingress and also packs corrosion-proof ports. The smartphone also has a multi-layer graphite sheet which the company claims ensures rapid heat dissipation to protect the device from any heating problems.
Redmi 10 has the same EVOL design language, which is moving forward Redmi note 10 series design language. It comes with a stylish textured finished back that is available in 3 colors – Caribbean Green, Pacific Blue and Midnight Black. The rear camera has a fingerprint sensor that integrates with a single-hand camera module.
Redmi 10 Specification
The Redmi 10 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with 6nm architecture. The smartphone hosts 4x ARM Cortex A-73 @ 2.4GHz and 4x ARM Cortex A-53 @ 1.9GHz to multiply its performance with Adreno 610 @ 1.0Ghz. The Redmi 10 comes with UFS 2.2 storage, which is 100% faster than UFS 2.1. Redmi 10 also has virtual RAM booster Expandable up to 8GB. The smartphone runs outside of MIUI 13.
For photos, the Redmi 10 has a dual back camera setup. The device has a 50MP main sensor supported by a 2MP depth sensor for detailed close-up shots. It comes with a 5MP front camera for all selfies. The Redmi 10 has a 6000mAh battery and 18W fast charging. The smartphone is claimed to offer 10 hours of uninterrupted gaming and 146 hours of music playback. Redmi 10 promises a standby time of up to 24 days.
