Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi It has recently expanded its smartphone lineup in India with new launches Redmi 10 The budget smartphone with WaterDrop Notch display is ready for sale in India for the first time today (March 24) at 12 noon. The Redmi 10 handset comes in three distinct color options – Caribbean Green, Midnight Black and Pacific Blue. The base variant of this handset is priced at Rs 10,999 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 12,999. Buyers will be able to purchase the smartphone from today and the device will be available at Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home and selected offline retail stores.
Buyers will be able to get instant discounts of up to Rs.1000 if they purchase the device using HDFC Bank Card or EMI transactions on Xiaomi’s official website or Flipkart. EMI options and exchange offers are also available on selected retail channels You can get up to Rs 9,500 discount for exchanges through Mi Exchange. Flipkart also offers instant discounts of up to Rs.1000 for purchases made through ICICI Bank Card or EMI transactions. In addition, the e-commerce site is offering 5 percent cashback for customers who will use the Flipkart Axis Bank credit card to make payments.
Redmi 10 Specification
The new Redmi 10 has a 6.5-inch HD + display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which is supported with Mali G52 GPU and up to 6GB RAM. The handset also allows virtual RAM extensions where an additional 2GB can be added using the built-in memory. Redmi 10 offers onboard storage up to 128GB which can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
The back of the device has a quad camera setup with an LED flash that includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra wide camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone supports a 5MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. The Redmi 10 packs a 6000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and 9W wired reverse charging. It has side fingerprint sensor as well as AI Face Unlock for authentication. For connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dual SIM device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
