Samsung A company that takes Android updates very seriously The smartphone maker ensures that not only high-end, but also mid-range and budget smartphones receive the latest OS updates. The South Korean smartphone maker has now started rolling out Android 12 Update for Galaxy M31s smartphones. Currently living in Russia, this is the second major OS update for smartphones. Samsung has launched Galaxy M31s in 2020, out of Android 10. Last year the smartphone got Android 11 update and now it is getting Android 12 update.
The update comes with the firmware version M317FXXU3DVD4. The update brings a security patch for March and version 4.1 of Samsung’s One UI interface. With the Android 12 update, the Samsung Galaxy M31 is also getting the One UI 4.1 update. With One UI 4.0, users will find advanced stock apps, Material U dynamic color themes, lock screen widgets, toggled quick settings toggles and new widget design to turn off camera and microphone access. The update also claims to increase the security and privacy of devices.
Samsung Galaxy M31s Specification
The Samsung Galaxy M31s comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD + display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The top of the display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover.
The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 9611 processor with up to 8GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.
The smartphone has a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro shooter. There is also a 32MP selfie camera.
The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is supported by a 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
