Samsung The Galaxy Z Flip 3 packs a 3300mAh battery that is not too high for modern smartphones. Despite the fact that the smartphone can last all day under normal usage conditions, there is room for improvement in battery life.
Samsung seems to be taking the battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 successor seriously and is planning to offer a slightly larger battery this time around.
Dutch publication GalaxyClub has now announced that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 May come with a larger battery. The publication mentions that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 with model number SM-F721 will come with two battery setups. The publication also reveals the battery model codes for Samsung’s upcoming flip phones – EB-BF721ABY and EB-BF722ABY–.
The report claims that the EB-BF721ABY will have a battery capacity of 2400mAh, while the EB-BF722ABY will have a 903mAh battery. The two together will have a total battery of 3,303 mAh, which is 103mAh larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 3. This suggests that the normal battery size of the phone will be 3400mAh.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4 later this year, and according to reports, the handset will come with some design changes and a new hinge design that will be stronger than the current model.
