These five common phrases have more effect on your child than you think

At school and on the playground, your child meets classmates and children who openly comment on each other’s looks. Bullies do this often and extremely well. However, such comments can lead to a higher awareness of the internalization of these features and their flaws. At home, try and create a safe place where errors are not pointed out but accepted. Making fun of or commenting on your child’s appearance can lead to the development of insecurity.
