The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to introduce General University Entrance Test (CUET) for postgraduate courses from this year.
“CUET for PG admission will also be introduced from the 2022 academic year. The examination will be conducted in the third week of July and the application process will start today and end on June 18,” UGC chief Jagdesh Kumar told PTI.
The decision comes just weeks after the UGC chief announced that the CUET score, and not the Class 12 score, would be mandatory for admissions to 45 central universities.
More than 10.46 lakh candidates have so far registered for CUET-UG. The last date for CUET-UG registration is 22 May.

- Visit CUET’s official website samarth.edu.in
- Click on the CUET 2022 link available on the home page.
- Enter the registration details and click submit.
- Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
- Click Submit.
- Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of it for further needs.
The general entrance exam for all universities will rest for the growing cut-off.
