UP Board Class 10, 12 exams from February 16. Check full schedule

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on Tuesday announced that the UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations will begin from February 16.

As per the official notification, these exams will be held in two shifts – 8 am to 11:15 am and 2 pm to 5:30 pm.

According to the 2023 examination time table released by the Board of Secondary Education, the class 10 exam will end on March 3 and the class 12 exam will end on March 4.

First paper of Class 10 will be Hindi or Elementary Hindi and Class 12 students will have Hindi or Elementary Hindi or Military Science.

Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi wished all the best for the students appearing in the examination.

“Board of Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh Prayagraj 2023 High School and Intermediate Board Examination will start from 16 February 2023,” he said.

Devi asked the examinees to work hard and get good marks.

The Minister of Secondary Education said that preparations have been made to make the examination free of duplication.

“There will be regular monitoring during the test,” he added.

Earlier, the date of pre-board examination and practical examination of class 10th and 12th was announced on January 6. The pre-board theory test will be held between January 16 and January 20 and the practical test will be held in two phases – the first from January 21 to 28, the next from January 29 to February 5.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams, 2023, will begin on February 15 and end on March 10.

“CBSE is releasing the date sheet for both Class XX and XII of the 2023 board exams,” the board said in a press release.

The notification also said that the exam will start from 10.30 am.

According to the release, adequate gap is provided between the two tests.

Also, the board takes care of competitive exams including Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Datesheets have been prepared avoiding about 40,000 subject adjustments to ensure that no student reads two papers on the same date, the notification said.

The datesheets are issued well in advance so that the students can prepare well for the exam. (ANI)
