The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Sunday launched a helpline to assist candidates from the Reserve Department who are applying for the examination and recruitment drive. Toll-free number – 1800118711 – was launched as part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The UPSC said in a statement, “To be part of this grand celebration and to take a step in this direction, the Union Public Service Commission has opened a ‘Helpline’ (Toll Free Number 1800118711) to assist candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST).” , Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Economically Weak Sections (EWS) and Benchmark Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) who have applied for / want to apply for commission examination / appointment. ”
“This initiative is part of the Commission’s efforts to take friendly action against such candidates,” it added.
The helpline will be open on all working days during office hours. Candidates in the reserved section can contact the Commission’s helpline number in case of any difficulty while filling up the application form.
