Vodafone has announced their gaming service in partnership with Idea (VI) Nazara Technologies Limited. As the service will be available V Games As part of the Vi app and services, Vi users can access a wide range of mobile games on their devices from various franchises in India.
The service includes over 1200 Android and HTML 5 titles in 10 popular genres such as Action, Adventure, Arcade, Casual, Education, Fun, puzzles, racing, sports and strategy.
Vi Games: Subscription costs and more
Vodafone Idea will offer gaming content in three categories, depending on which subscription plan the user chooses. It includes Platinum GamesGold Games and Free Games.
Platinum Games will offer users the option to ‘pay per download’ via a Platinum Pass, priced at Rs 25 for postpaid users and Rs 25 for prepaid customers.
Gold Games, on the other hand, will cover most of the content in the V Games library and users will have to purchase to access them. Gold pass Rs 50 for postpaid and Rs 56 for prepaid customers. The Gold Pass will include about 30 games and will come with a 30-day validity.
In addition, Vi Games will offer an extensive catalog of free games. The service currently has 250+ free titles and can be accessed by any Vi subscriber through the Vi app.
According to an official statement, V Games will initially include casual titles and content and will later be able to host social gaming and even Sports Future tournaments.
