The report says that WhatsApp users will be able to create a poll for group chat. They will then be asked to write a voting question and send it to a WhatsApp group. Both the asked question and the answer will be encrypted end-to-end.
The poll is only available in the WhatsApp group, which means only people in the group can see the poll and its results. The latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS features the Group Poll feature.
WhatsApp is already reportedly testing a new feature for Android users. This will allow Android users to pause and resume voice recording soon.
