New Delhi : Rama Sharma, spokesperson of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) says there is no update on CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Term 1 results. The statement comes as millions of students prepare for the Term 2 board exams to be held in April.
However, another official said that the results of Term 1 would most likely be announced on March 2 or March.
“The board is working to announce the Term 1 results in March, but there are plans to announce the Term 1 results jointly with Term 2. There will be an official announcement of Term 1 results soon,” the official said.
Earlier announcements confirmed that CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Term 1 results would be announced in February. However, no notice of delay has been shared.
The board said the Class 10 and Class 12 term 2 exams will begin on April 26. They further said that the detailed date sheet will be published on cbse.nic.in soon. The practical test will be from March 2.
The term 1 mark sheet will only mention the marks secured by the students and the mark sheet with final result after term 2 will include details like pass and fail status.
In Term-2, students will answer both objective and thematic questions.
Once announced, students will be able to view Class 10 and 12 results on the official website – cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE Term 1 results are also available on Digilocker app and digilocker.gov.in.
