WhatsApp It is learned that a new tab has been launched for this purpose Windows According to a report from users WABetaInfo, the Facebook-owned platform has begun rolling out a new update for the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app. The report reveals that WhatsApp has added a new sticker tab for Windows users with the update.
According to the screenshot shared in the report, the new sticker tab will appear inside the emoji panel. The tab will be similar to the one seen in the WhatsApp app for Android and iOS smartphones. This will allow users to save stickers sent or received on WhatsApp. This feature is very useful for Windows users because the UWP app does not allow users to add third party stickers.
It’s worth noting that the Stickers tab allows users to save customized stickers that can be reused. For those who don’t know, the WhatsApp UWP app lets users create their own stickers from pictures in the gallery. The feature enables users to quickly create a sticker from an image on the platform without having to use a third-party app. The platform also offers a bunch of editing tools like Outline, Emoji, Sticker, Text, Paint and Crop & Rotate and allows users to change the image.
While the WhatsApp UWP app is getting the Stickers tab section, the stickers stored in your smartphone app will not be displayed here. The report suggests that WhatsApp is working on the ability to sync stickers between your devices in future updates. So far, WhatsApp has not announced when the new tab will be available in a stable update, but it is expected to be available to all UWP app users soon.
