Shaomi Added to the end-of-support (EOS) list of multiple smartphones and tablets. Chinese smartphone makers regularly add relatively older devices to this list. However EOS The list is different from Apple’s ‘obsolete’ or ‘wine’ list. Devices added to this list stop receiving firmware or software updates. The company even claims that smartphones and tablets that are included in the EOS list may not even respond to security updates that often patch dangerous vulnerabilities.
Typically, Xiaomi offers up to two years of software updates and up to three years of security updates for devices in both the local market and other regions of the world. Considering the number of devices Xiaomi launches each year, this number seems quite fair, however, it is not the best in the industry at all. Recently, the company has promised long-term support for some of its flagship devices.
Earlier, the report suggested that Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Series will not be received MIUI 13 updates. Now, the company has confirmed that the lineup will also be added to the EOS list. Here we have mentioned all the recent additions to the company’s EOS list.

Xiaomi EOS smartphone is available in India
Of the devices mentioned above, Redmi K20 and Redmi Note 7 series smartphones are only available in India. These devices are still available in the country and have been around for more than two years since their launch. These devices will no longer receive MIUI updates, and the company has even claimed to have stopped beta development around these phones.
