Shaomi Xiaomi has recently launched its flagship Xiaomi 12 series in India with the launch of 12 Pro smartphones. Rumor has it that the Chinese technology giant is working on another series Xiaomi 12S series. According to a report from GizmoChina, the upcoming series could include two new smartphones – Xiaomi 12S And Xiaomi 12S Pro. The report further suggests that the original details of an anonymous device have been leaked online and that it appears to contain details of both smartphones in the Xiaomi 12S lineup.
Moreover, the report further claims that three new Xiaomi devices have received CMIIT certification. These smartphones have model numbers 2203121C, 2206123SC and 2206122SC which are expected to launch in China as Xiaomi 12 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro respectively. The report further states that some of Xiaomi’s flagship phones will come to market with smaller displays. Both can come powered by smartphones Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor.
Xiaomi 12S Expected Specification
The Xiaomi 12S can be equipped with a curved edge display that can offer – a FHD + resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a centrally located punch-hole and more pocket-friendly size.
The upcoming device may have a triple rear camera unit that will include a 50MP primary camera. The report further suggested that the handset be equipped with the latest hardware-level algorithms to enhance the photography experience.
Xiaomi 12S Pro Expected Specification
The Pro variant of the Xiaomi 12S series may have a 2K display and is expected to come with some improvements in the display. The Xiaomi 12S Pro could be the company’s first flagship phone with a MediaTek There are rumors that the processor will come in two CPU variants as upcoming devices – Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. The report did not mention any other information about this smartphone.
